My thoughts, my loves, my hopes, my dreams.

I like Jay & Silent Bob, Buffy and most things by Joss Whedon. I also like 80's movies.

I will mainly be sharing whatever I am in the mood for.

It can range from funny to sometimes serious.

I occasionally will make gif sets from movies I own. If you have a gif set you'd like made, feel free to ask and I'll see if I have it/can get it. The catch is, it has to be a movie I at least moderately like :P

I want gender equity/equality. I believe men should be taught not to rape rather than teach women to hide in fear. As someone very wise here on Tumblr once said "If you're promoting changes to women's behavior to prevent rape, you're really saying "make sure he rapes the other girl."

I love Sailor Moon and it is my favorite anime. I am not affiliated with any religion. Does not mean I am intolerant of religious people. So long as you are not sexist, racist, homophobic or a jackass in general - we'll get along swimmingly. Both male and female genital mutilation are barbaric and archaic practices that should be made illegal.

I live a Paleo lifestyle which I secretly call the "avoid-eating-toxic-shit-to-be-healthy" lifestyle. Mostly organic meats and veggies. I support local farmers that don't pump their animals full of crap. GMO is evil and has already been banned/moderated in many countries. I hope it gets done in the USA and Canada soon.

I also support the right to choose whatever you personally wish to do. Be it to have an abortion, or to NOT have one. To NOT vaccinate or TO vaccinate. To be gay or to not be gay. To smoke or not to smoke. To drink or not to drink. I am prochoice when it comes down to these things. In short: I have empathy and am able to relate. If anti-gay people were forced to be gay, you wouldn't like it. If pro-vaccine people were forced not to vaccinate, you wouldn't like it. If probirth people were forced to abort, you wouldn't like it. So stop bitching about people who do not do what you do and stop trying to pass absurd laws. Thank you.

P.S. I think Canadians are awesome.

white women of hollywood, reducing japan and japanese culture to cupcakes, sexy ”costumes” and submissive sex-kittens since god knows when

white people, this is why nobody trusts you

yeah, so white women fetishize, objectify, and commodify woc as well and treat us like props.

this is why we don’t trust you.

They took down the Hello Kitty video from YouTube but you can watch it here if you want to cringe and fume for three minutes.

Also I hate people going around and saying that if we don’t want to be dehumanized or appropriated, then don’t take the job.

Uh. If someone turns down the chance to be in an artist’s music video, they’ll easily replace her and she’ll be known to be a difficult person to work with. It’s tough enough for WoC in this industry, so they’re not in a position to bargain or stand up for themselves cause to Hollywood, they’re disposable.

So instead of being so simple-minded and saying for everyone to just “stop taking offensive jobs”, get angry at those who think it’s okay to use People of Color as props.

We’re not for display.

We’re not your accessories.

Go fuck yourself.

I think some of you need to chill the fuck out.

They like Asian cultures. So what?

What you guys are saying about this, putting a horrible meaning behind something obviously innocent, says more about your own insecurities and projections.

If some Asian artists decided to have some white backup dancers, well, it would simply mean that they like them, and they like their culture. That’s it.

I mean seriously, if you were an artist, would your thought about backup dancers be:

"OMFG lol gr8 idea I wanna have a culture I hate and have no respect for dancing behind me BWHAHAHA"

Yeah… No…

It’s more about love than hate.

This is so true. Some people think “wow, that person was so lucky and has it so easy”

The truth is, being successful, making shit tons of money and gaining some recognition is nitty-gritty work.

love this.

The way some people treat the planet like their personal trash can pisses me off, and then depresses me.

I wanted to go swimming in the lake near New York. Unfortunately, like most bodies of water near cities, it’s fairly polluted.

After swimming there a few times, my skin broke out in rashes from all the toxicity.

I really wish we could all go swimming in the water, and not worry about it affecting our health. Swimming is one of the best types of exercise, too. I could go swimming in my own pool, but I shouldn’t be afraid to swim in lakes or beaches due to pollution. People dump loads of toxic crap in there.

I wish every single one of you would do your part in teaching people not to pollute. If you see someone throwing their plastic bottles in the water, stand up to them and teach them why it’s wrong. Don’t just scream “OMG YOU EVIL BASTARD YOU WANNA KILL US ALL!!?!?” sure, that may scar them for life, but really telling them about the severe consequences will touch them even more profoundly than a severe fear-inducing scolding.

I’ll do my part, as well.

If we all take the time to teach everyone, then everyone will teach everyone else, and that’s the best way to put an end to disrespecting nature.
